Palladium-enhanced version of Grade 2, with superior corrosion resistance in extreme chemical environments.

Grade 7 is a Corrosion Resistant grade of Titanium, widely used in industrial CNC machining for its balanced performance across mechanical, thermal and machining properties.
Palladium-enhanced version of Grade 2, with superior corrosion resistance in extreme chemical environments.
The Grade 7 grade is commonly used in the following industries and scenarios. Our CNC machining services can produce custom parts for these sectors.
Grade 7 delivers the following core advantages in CNC machining and end-use applications.
Key process points when machining the Grade 7 grade to ensure part quality and machining efficiency.
Use sharp, coated carbide tools (AlTiN/TiCN). Keep tools sharp — a dull edge increases cutting forces and degrades surface finish.
Apply moderate cutting speeds with a stable, consistent feed. Avoid dwell and rubbing, which cause work hardening and poor surface quality.
Use high-volume flood coolant to evacuate heat and chips. For some grades, minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) can give a cleaner cut.
Use soft jaws or custom fixtures to avoid marking the part. Distribute clamping forces evenly to prevent distortion of thin walls.
Verify dimensions and geometric tolerances with CMM or other precision metrology. Our ISO 9001 quality system covers the whole process.
Besides Grade 7, Titanium offers several other grades with different characteristics. Click to view details.
