POM (Acetal/Delrin) is a high-performance engineering plastic with excellent dimensional stability, low friction, and good mechanical properties.

POM (Polyoxymethylene), also known as Acetal or Delrin, is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic valued for its excellent dimensional stability, low friction coefficient, and outstanding wear resistance. It is ideal for precision mechanical components, gears, bearings, and sliding mechanisms.
POM machines exceptionally well, producing smooth, precise surfaces with tight tolerances. It offers excellent fatigue resistance and maintains its mechanical properties over a wide temperature range. POM is naturally white/black and can be reinforced with PTFE or glass fiber for enhanced properties.
Common applications include gears, bushings, rollers, valves, fittings, and electrical insulators. Its low moisture absorption ensures dimensional stability even in humid environments.
Besides POM (Acetal/Delrin), POM (Acetal/Delrin) offers several other grades with different characteristics. Click to view details.
