PP (polypropylene) has a density of approximately 0.9g/cm³, making it the lightest common plastic. It resists most acids, alkalis, solvents and oils, is non-absorbent and stress-crack resistant, widely used in chemical equipment and laboratory consumables.
PP machines well, achieving smooth surfaces with sharp tools. Its melting point is relatively low (approximately 160°C), requiring cutting temperature control to avoid material melting, tool clogging and surface tearing.
PP is tough and weldable with low raw material cost, suitable for large-volume production of chemical tanks, pump and valve parts, laboratory consumables and automotive interior trim. We specialize in batch production, 100 pcs MOQ, lead time 15-25 days.
Besides PP (Polypropylene), PP (Polypropylene) offers several other grades with different characteristics. Click to view details.
